![]() ![]() ![]() The world of intrinsic safety is divided into two zones: the intrinsically safe zone where dust and gas create hazardous conditions, and the rest of the world (the non-IS zone). While this is the common way to approach insulation safety, the safety margins chosen were much more conservative than is typical in IEC standards. The standard approaches the safety side by mandating insulation properties such as thickness or distance along the surface. All of the testing and design guidelines laid out in IEC 60079-11 are really to achieve those two goals. The primary concept is that the design cannot be capable of creating a spark or flame with the energy available to it so that under every conceivable fault scenario, the insulation will remain intact. It is all about safety around flammable atmospheres and dust. Let’s review the primary concepts behind IS isolator components. It tends to be a world apart from the rest of electronic design and takes a while to come to terms with the terms and world view (pun intended). If you are new to the world of intrinsic safety (IS), you might be a little overwhelmed by the terminology and concepts. New technologies are available that have tantalizing properties that would make a design smaller, simpler, lower power, faster, or all four, but it is not clear if or how you can use them because of the requirements of the IS safety standard. Digital Isolators Can Be Used in Intrinsic Safety Applicationsĭesigners of intrinsic safety (IS) equipment know the challenges of getting signals in and out of your equipment. ![]()

It’s a short method of writing the –exclude-from option: $ tar -zcvf -exclude-from="exclude_file.txt". We’re using the -X option to enter an exclude file. Do you agree or disagree? I would like to understand how and why someone could like the 1985 movie, because I simply have no idea what the appeal is. Bloodlust though might honestly be worthy of being in my top list of all-time favorite anime movies. I wouldn't say the 1985 is one of the WORST anime movies I've ever watched, but definitely one of the most dull and boring and uninspired ones. Even the giant sand mantas appearing serves the purpose of showing how fearless D is. and all creatures appearing did all serve a purpose. And the fights are better, the animation is better, the music is better, the pacing is better, all the characters are better. And the sci-fi elements were being utilized in very interesting ways for a change - especially by those previously mentioned hunters. Every character served a purpose, and all powers being used made sense and did something that mattered. The villain has a more cool design and is much more morally ambigious. Seeing other hunters other than D felt really refreshing, and they were all likable interesting characters. Even the plot felt like an improved and more original version of the plot in the first one. Every single aspect of it is an improvement over the first movie. Without a doubt one of the best anime movies I have ever seen. The 2000 movie Bloodlust on the other hand? I thought it was amazing. Same goes for lots of weird creatures we see in the background of the villain's castle that don't really do anything. The sci-fi stuff were nothing but superficial cosmetics. They didn't try to establish anything properly, and the movie didn't even TRY to take advantage of the fact that it's a post-apocalyptic world mixing sci-fi elements with Victorian gothic stuff. None of the characters were interesting, the pacing was awfully incompetent, the plot was generic and uninspired, and not even the action felt satisfying. My verdict? The 1985 movie was painfully boring and dull. Looking for what show an image came from? ![]() ![]() Can’t wait for next season.Copyright © 2023 Denver Broncos. So thank you, Cam Newton, for the best sleight of hand postgame middle finger in NFL history. So, the hats got bigger each week, the clothing mixes became more eccentric (a favorite was his slave-in-a-cotton-field get-up) and the look on Newton’s face? Just a beat shy from being a shade-throwing eye roll.īeyoncé may have said, “Best revenge is your paper,” but Newton spiraled that lyric into the proverbial fan. “Y’all gonna be mad no matter what I do, so I may as well give you something ELSE to be angry about, ” seemed to be the thinking. You’d better believe there was method in the Newton madness. He put on his big boy ruby slippers and dug in. As the 27-year-old athletic prodigy fell deeper into the choking trenches of a very bad season (the Panthers finished with a disappointing 6-10 record), he hit back in the best way possible: by becoming a flamboyant dandy who could not be held or broken by anyone’s standards but his own.īut instead of cowering or playing it safe in an Under Armour tracksuit, Newton took agency in the way proud black folks can. He’s as media-savvy, wily and self-aware as they come, and he surely could count on the social media dragging that was sure to come after every game. Of course, Newton knew what he was doing. Magoo eyeglasses, and Twitter automatically had a week’s worth of hilarious “Your boy is tripping!” social media material. Add the blond-tipped goatee and a pair of Mr. Newton wore beautiful suits, but he also sported oversized mimosa brunch cardigans and wife-beater t-shirts. There’s the custom ten-gallon hat collection that managed to out-do Pharrell Williams’ famous Arby’s topper, patterned scarves worn with Parisian flair, and a huge collection of Sunday-go-to-meeting shoes and sneakers. But let’s give a shout out to the man’s accessories closet, which is now legendary. While his team was losing games to squads the Panthers had previously dominated and Newton was taking a pounding on the field, he showed up to his press conferences wearing outrageously flamboyant things bought, as my mother used to say, “somewhere out around Robin Hood’s barn” (that is not a compliment in Weldon, North Carolina, believe me). This season, though, Big Cam took things all the way up. There was even a hallelujah moment when the Atlanta native wore a footlong foxtail clipped onto his skinny jeans. Before the Panthers’ soul-crushing Super Bowl 50 defeat to the Denver Broncos last February, his news conference clothes always revolved around one – and usually only one – blinged-out centerpiece item: a smartly tailored suit jacket in navy camouflage print, a brightly-colored pair of slip-on shoes done up in sparkles or spikes, or retro flourishes like leather floral boutonnieres. Tall, handsome and extremely confident, Cam is now a bonafide master of the quirky fashion curveball. Newton has always been a charismatic presence in a pressroom. He tried every kind of millionaire diesel jock look imaginable: conservative businessman, Playboy Mansion cat daddy, Harlem Black Dandy, Kentucky Derby preppy hero, and strip club kingpin. ![]() He’s tried every kind of millionaire diesel jock look imaginable: conservative businessman, Playboy mansion cat daddy, Harlem Black Dandy, Kentucky Derby preppy hero, and strip club kingpin. And like Russell Westbrook, Newton is known as his league’s most adventurous style guy. For the past several seasons, Newton has kept up a Westbrookian pace with his off-field dressing ideas. Newton has never been a shrinking fashion flower, thank God. Glitter and feathers and fur, oh my! Worn by a pro athlete. After this dismal season, what image comes to mind when Cam’s name is mentioned? A glum-looking guy standing at a news podium dressed in a Broadway costume designer’s idea of a “chic” outfit. Newton’s 2015 NFL MVP Award and his exuberant dabbing celebrations seem like distant memories. His team, the formerly great Carolina Panthers, finished the NFL season on New Year’s Day with a shameful seat at the bottom of the NFC South. The skin-tight zebra-striped Versace pants with a gold Barocco print, worn for the trip to Super Bowl 50, caught the eye of pretty much everyone on. Sure Kaepernick’s on-field protests during the playing of the National Anthem stood for something – the issue of African Americans’ disenfranchisement at the hands of law enforcement – that will be remembered for generations.īut know what else will also be remembered, argued about and mawed over for years to come? That after having the worst season of his pro career, Newton is now best known for his - how shall we say? - idiosyncratic postgame press conference fashion choices. Or to be more accurate, his most famous pants. Not to take anything away from Colin Kaepernick, but Newton may just be the bravest player in the NFL. Enter one Cam Newton, the Carolina Panthers’ QB who is actually big and rebellious. It’s been said that it takes a big man to be a true rebel. ![]() ![]()

Here’s a little history: By the 18 th century, virtually all of the original Floridians were gone, killed off by diseases and war. In the pre-road Everglades, before airboats, Miccosukees got around in canoes hewn from cypress trees. His great grandfather, Charley Tigertail, traded frogs legs and furs to white settlers in the late 19 th century.
